Welcome to the GSC blog that publishes research related posts. We are happy to receive blog submissions from Gust faculty, Fulbright scholars and other scholars interested in visiting or collaborating. Research at GUST is quantitatively and qualitatively extremely rich. Our faculty works on youth culture, cross cultural aesthetics, women’s narratives in the Gulf, disability studies, bookstore culture in Kuwait,  French influence in Egypt, colonial novels,  Latin America representations in Kuwait, digital usage of  religious communities, Alternative media and religion, German Encounters with Modern East Asia, Media ownership and the law in the GCC, human rights education in Kuwait, sociology of food and livelihoods, rural-urban migration, post-socialist transition,globalization and the relationship between Pan-Asianism, Eurasianism and Pan-Slavism, ethno-philosophy, New Literacy Studies, video games as cross-cultural texts, Christian-Muslim dialogues, World Religions and musical reform… This is just a small sample.
